Trunk features black stenciled panels. Trunk is showing bent wood ribs with brass corner guards. Brass screws & nails. Front latches work and are in the open position, i do not have key to lock. Most antique shops have keys that will fit lock. Side straps need to be replaced, you can find replacements on Ebay. Interior still has original lining paper and label of person who took a trip in 1937 with name and address. see photos.
Trunk is in good shape. It has some scuffs here and there. Has a couple of shipping line labels that give it a very nice look. The trunk can be used for intended purpose or as a display piece. Would make a very nice coffee table with a glass top.
